We describe completed work by the problem it solved rather than by customer names. A project's
value lies in the difficulty it overcame, not in who ordered it.
From slab measurement to cutting: placement optimisation in stone
Measuring irregular natural stone slabs with a camera, marking unusable regions and placing
ordered parts while preserving vein direction. Once the layout is approved, offsetting for
tool radius, generating the cutting order and driving the machine. In projects like this the
weight of the work is on the PC side; the PLC and motion layers execute the generated program.
Stitch path editor and program library
A pattern definition editor for automatic sewing machines: straight and curved seams,
bartacks, jump moves and start-end rules. A program library where hundreds of patterns are
stored safely, can be backed up, and survive a power cut without corruption.
Angle and springback management on a bending line
A control structure holding springback tables per material and thickness, sequencing
multi-step bending programs and positioning back gauge axes at every step. Frequently
produced parts added to a library to shorten changeover time.
Recipes and traceability on a filling line
Product-based recipe management, weight-feedback filling stages and batch-level production
records. On a product change the machine sets every parameter from the recipe; which batch
was produced under which conditions can be reviewed afterwards.
End-of-line test station
Collecting data from measurement instruments, comparing against limits that change per
product type, and recording the pass/fail decision matched to a barcode. Automatic
end-of-shift reports and failure-type frequency tracking.
